“Square Lace” is lace-like intricate image that evokes both the manual art of lace making and the digital as it is entirely composed by horizontal and vertical lines. It is generated by repeatedly replacing the lines with a simple shape, which, in just five steps, results in this Baroque rosette. Marrying the Baroque, flowery past with the angular modern, it is calm and timeless.
