“Road” is a minimalist landscape inviting a viewer on a journey into the unknown. Using the layering technique to make the posts along a road disappear into the distance, it only hints at the presence of a ground. The overwhelming red creates a scene reminiscent of Mars, or an alien desert in a sandstorm. It evokes the uncertainty of the future, but through its symmetry and timelessness, also stands calm.
